International Sales Agent
In 2004, after successfully selling the Guy Pearce, Helena Bonham Carter movie, Till Human Voices Wake Us, to Paramount Pictures, Instinct and LA based Eden Rock Media formalised their ongoing commitment to work together in selling films that Instinct was involved in producing by establishing Instinct Eden Rock International.
As well as operating as the US representative of German distributor Telemunchen, Eden Rock Media’s founder and president, Thomas Augsberger, was a producer on a range of movies including Waiting and its sequel Still Waiting with Ryan Reynolds for Lions Gate and Mr Brooks with Kevin Costner, William Hurt, Demi Moore and Dane Cook for MGM.
This joint venture has since been involved in the production financing and selling of a number of Instinct productions and is structured in a way that enables it to both handle sales to key territories itself or to partner up with other sales agent to maximise the international potential of the movie.
